I struggled to gain muscle…

Before

I've always been active. I skateboarded, danced professionally, and started working out to try and build muscles in my teens. For years I did everything most people do, lift heavy, eat a lot, and still didn’t see any change in my body while watching others succeed.

All my effort weren't producing results. I knew I was missing something, and instead of giving up in defeat, I went on a journey to learn everything I could about the body and how to build it. That journey lead me to some amazing mentors that opened my eyes to better ways to train and encouraged me to research and dive deeper.

After

Mixing newfound knowledge with a shit ton of trial and error and consistency finally began to pay off. As I started transforming my physique, I realized I gained more than muscles. I had more confidence in my ability to work hard and push through obstacles than what I looked like in the mirror. I learned that any problem can be solved with the right knowledge and the correct mindset around it. I found a passion when I thought I only wanted to look like Goku.

So while still working as a professional dancer I studied to be a certified personal trainer. This added more knowledge to my arsenal and offered me a way to make money while helping people. There was only one downside, I hated it.

There is as much mental work that goes into a fitness goal as the workout itself. And I found myself frustrated by the doubt, complaining, and defeated attitudes of clients who could achieve their goals but didn’t really believe in themselves to commit.

So now I strive to teach people how to not only see the physical results they want but to challenge the mindsets that keep them stuck. To empower them to push through their obstacles and gain valuable tools that will help them succeed in all areas of life.
